In Södra Cell Mörrum there are two production lines for the manufacture of paper and dissolving pulp. Dissolving pulp is produced on line 1 from hardwood, while long-fibre paper pulp from softwood is produced on line 2. The pulp produced is of the highest quality and is obtained with the help of high-tech equipment.
Eurocon’s remit in this project was:
– Preproject and process design
– Optimisation in digester, Line 2
– Part of sand separation in joint reject line
– Feasibility study/preliminary project, screening unit
– Feasibility study/preliminary project, brown stock washing
– Various optimisations and feasibility studies for Line 1
