Working with wood as a raw material, Södra Cell Värö produces high-quality paper pulp, green electricity, district heating and biofuel. 700,000 tonnes of paper pulp and 1.6 TWh of energy are produced annually in the extended mill. Södra Cell Värö’s production generates more energy than is consumed for running the mill. The surplus is supplied as green electricity to the electricity market and as district heating to the community around the mill.
