Chemistry is the science that identifies materials, their composition, behaviour, structure and properties, along with the changes that take place in the materials during chemical reactions. Process chemistry is one of Eurocon’s core areas, and collectively within the Eurocon Group we possess in-depth understanding and experience of most of the chemical processes used within the processing industry.
Chemicals and the chemical industry are essential for a modern functioning society. A major challenge lies in choosing manufacturing processes that have less impact on the internal and external environment and are less toxic for humans and animals, without sacrificing the function of the product or material. Being able to replace today’s synthetic chemicals with natural chemicals is a key component in addressing climate change.
