New concepts, new challenges

The chemical industry is a diversified industry, but many of our assignments are related to energy and environmental issues.

A current example is the bio refinery concept that requires an integration of production of bio fuels and other chemicals with the existing pulp and paper mills where common infra structure and systems are used to produce alternative products. Gasification of bio mass or lignin can be used to generate steam and power at the mill. Methanol and other cellulose chemicals can be extracted in accordance to the chemical pulping process.
