Eurocon receives orders from Zellstoff Stendal, Germany and Altri Celtejo, Portugal

Eurocon has been awarded a capacity increase and de-bottlenecking study for Zellstoff Stendal, Germany. The purpose of the study is to identify the possibilities for increased pulp and energy production. Eurocon has also been awarded a recovery boiler de-bottlenecking study for Altri Celtejo, Portugal. The purpose of the study is to identify the possibilities for increased combustion capacity in the recovery boiler. The estimated total value of the two projects amounts to EUR 200.000. Eurocon receives new order from Stora Enso Pulp, Skutskär

Eurocon has received the order to carry out the electrical and instrumentation planning for the modernization of line 1 at Stora Enso Pulp Skutskär, (Project Fibre line 2011). The project includes work for three to five people with planned start-up after the fall shutdown 2009. Our own project tool SiteBase® is utilized for this project.

Eurocon establishes new branch in Kiruna

1st May, 2009 Eurocon opened a new branch in Kiruna: Eurocon North AB. The main focus areas are the mining and steel industries but also energy and infrastructure. The office will be staffed with five qualified employees with long experience in project management and automation. The Kiruna office will have access to the full range of competence and products within the Eurocon group. We are convinced that the new Kiruna branch will help expand Eurocon’s business in other areas.

Eurocon signs agreement with Holmen Timber regarding technical services for Braviken’s saw mill project

Holmen Timber to build the largest saw mill in Scandinavia at Braviken Paper mill in Norrköping. Construction to start in 2009 with a planned startup in 2010/2011.

Eurocon’s responsibility is mainly services in regards to planning, purchasing and startup in addition to project management for power distribution, process automation, lighting and industrial IT.

This project will be delivered mainly by resources at the Eurocon offices in Örnsköldsvik and Sundsvall. The project will employ four to six engineers during 2009, 2010 and early 2011.
